It took long enough, but the snow is FINALLY HERE!!! Our first storm was just constant snow flurries, but it dropped about 4-6 inches. It was all powder, dry and looked like someone had mixed glitter in it. The city attempted to plow the roads, but since it was so light and powdery, the movement of the plow was causing the snow to blow right back into the roads. Our low this week was -12, but we realized once it hits about 5, it all feels and hurts your face about the same. The hardest part about the first storm is that the snow was no where near heavy or wet enough to even make a snowball. This is the first time I've seen it snow and not saw kids outside playing or building snowmen...not that I blame them, it was just too cold!
The second storm started this morning at about 6. This time we are getting big, heavy, wet snowflakes. The roads are slick, and best of all, its perfect for packing into ammo or snowmen. It reached 32 today. When Austin opened the door, he actually said it was warm! Crazy kid... Here are a few pics of their fun!

I hear ya about the cold. Our Kids got a snow day out of school and I can't persuade them to go out side. The wind is howling here, and drifted a bunch of the roads. I am so glad I have groceries, and my Christmas shipping done. I have stayed home in my nice warm house!!!!
