Ethan was doing a Social Studies lesson with David while I was putting Kellen to sleep for a nap. He was learning about the Indians & White people and how they fought over land. One of his questions at the end of the lesson was to give a few examples of how they could have handled the situation differently instead of fighting over it. One of his responses was to talk it out. Then he said, "They could've just done Rock, Paper, Scissors"!

Maybe you had be there, but I couldn't help but laugh, picturing the whites and indians doing rock, paper, scissors to split up land.....

  1. That is so cute! I make my kids do rock paper scissors to settle things all the time. Poor Mackenzie usually get the short end since she doesn't quite get it, but her Stacy tries to help her!! OH that Ethan is such a clever little guy!!! I sure miss you guys!!!

  2. I love it! I've noticed my son and his friend always using rock, paper, scissors to solve their problems. Our boys are so brilliant!

HAHAHA, that's HILARIOUS! I think both of those are awesome ideas rather than fighting.
